« on: March 09, 2018, 06:55:28 pm »
I'm planning to do my 1st arrow build....2 fletched Eastern Woodland with river cane shaft.I've never even shot river cane and never even considered using it until a brief exchange of messages with Ryan Gill. How is this material to work with?Hafting stone points?Self nocks?Any words of wisdom. What about arrow weight towards the front of the shaft?
Thanks,
 Scott

I personally think river cane is the best natural arrow shaft material there is.  But I'm prejudice I have a lot of it ready available. :)
Made hundreds of arras from river cane, be glad to answer any questions.
