Beautiful bow.  I’ve had no luck with ERC even sinewed. Nice work.

That is indeed a beauty of a bow. I need to cut Some cedar. I don’t have any on my land that has a usable trunk section, but there are a few that have branches large enough I think. People always talk of how good the stuff smells, but I don’t care for it. I think it smells quite a bit like Tom cat urine.

Thank you Hans, Hosierf and  Morgan.
Hosierf I have a sister stave to this one that I am hopefully going to turn into a selfbow  now that I know this particular ERC  tree will hold together under stress.
Morgan I can see how the smell might not be for everyone!
Oh and the finish is Danish oil and beeswax.
