Single limb pike?

Anyone ever tried piking only one limb of a bow?
(I'm sure at least one of you yahoos have)
I have a light bow that also has one limb bending a little more than I like compared to the other.
Thinking if I pike only one limb it may even them up and gain a little weight.
But....which limb to pike?? The stiffer or the weaker?? My guess is the stiffer but what do I know

Done it. I piked the weaker limb, which was going to be the top, and made it the bottom. It actually worked out perfectly and I hardly had to retiller much at all.

Or you can move the arrow pass up little. BTW I like the bottom limb stronger by a 1/4 inch at full draw. Jawge

Not much weaker but I wanted the bow heavier too.
I piked 4" off and made it a bendy bow that gained a few pounds. Gotta get some arrows through it now and see how it does but I think it is about right.

4 in of the upper limb? LOL. I am not a fan of piking. Any weight gains are likely offset by additional set. Jawge

Sometimes the desired result is not for performance. I've don't it for legality reasons. Bow has to be 50 lbs for elk here. Even if performance is offset by the extra set. I don't know DuBois reasoning, but that's why I have a desired weight.

Wouldn't a single limb pike just swim in circles?
