« on: August 01, 2017, 11:55:02 am »
Wife said why don't you buy another bass boat so you can take Lucas (our 16yr old son) out fishing on lake Cumberland And of course my daughter Lauren too. Cant go fishing with out her she's my go everywhere do everything girl. (hunt, fish, canoe, kayak, hike, arrowhead hunting,) just whatever she loves to be outside.
So we went out Saturday night and I caught this small mouth.

That's not bad.........for a southern fish......I guess :)

I have two of the same rod you have laying on your deck. Mine are spinning rods. 7' and 7' 6". Not bad for the money.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

Boy howdy, do i love a bronzeback pole dancin' on the end of the line or resting in a cast iron skillet with browned butter spitting and spattering.

Good times with the kids, bro.

PD those lighting rods are hard to beat but for you pan fishing guys out there try the berkley cherry rods. 5.5 medium light. Those are awesome.

You fellows that eat those small mouths you must be some hungry fellows. I'll pass. 😁
