Posting for ntvbowyer1969 (Anthony Marchese) bow

Up from the deep dark depths of mans imagination and fears rises "Leviathan".I have been making wooden bows for over 20yrs now.I had the great fortune to have met up with some great teachers. There was a archery store in New Kensington Pa. called Screaming Eagle archery.I was run by a great guy (roger Rae).He would hold seminars there on bow building and primitive archery skills. In those classes I had the privilege of meeting the likes of Paul Brunner and Jim Hamm and took bow building classes there.Being native American also I always had a passion in my blood for creating anything by hand.Alot of the elders from our band still make native crafts to this day.My passion now is devoted in the making of primitive bows and archery equipment. Leviathan is a osage flip tip bow.It is 60" long and is 59#@25".Even with its short length and stout draw weight she comes back smooth and casts a arrow with lightning speed.Thank you for the opportunity to show you all this,my latest bow fresh off the tillering tree.I hope you all enjoy this,my first entry in the BOM contest.

I was HECHO EN MEXICO, but assembled in Texas and I'm Texican as the day is long...  Psalm 127:4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

Really awesome looking bow. I like the way you built the narrow shelf into the handle and the translucent tips.--Jim

Lovely bow.  Very well done.  It is apparent that you are  not new to the art
