For more than 14 months I had no place to set up a decent shop, finally I moved in my new house and now I managed to get a dry stable shop going.
I'm itching to get some wood bending, but I need to get reaquanted to the tools and the tillering process, so I whent to Lowes and got a red oak stave to work on before going to selfbows, I was hoping to get 2, butt the had no really good ones, even the one I got isn't all that good so I'm going to make it easy on myself and start with a SNEAKY BAMBOO BACKED RED OAK

Here's a picture of the boo, almost ready, gotta thin a couple of spots and we are good, got it done with a ferrier rasp and 100grit

Here's the R.O. slat, I wanna temper it before gluing the boo, so I'll take her down a bit, to florr tillering
