Tennessee Classic Thursday Night Boil
« on: April 10, 2017, 08:40:22 am »
Hello all and again the time is upon us!  Here is the official sign up for the traditional, Thursday night boil.  As in the past, we usually have two pots going.  One for mainly seafood and light meats such as chicken, pheasant, etc.  The other for darker meats.  The eating turns out pretty good all with donated food items.  Those that donate, are first in the long line for all the fixins'.  I'll keep a running tally on this post.  Thank you all for sharing!

Items needed include:  Shrimp.  (If many bring just one bag, we can have a lot of shrimp and its easy on the pocket book, that way).
Any wild game, fish, poultry meat you can afford to bring is appreciated.
Sausage
Small, red potatoes
Carrots, celery, onions, corn on the cob,
Old Bay Seasoning
Lawry's seasoned salt
Desserts
Bread

shrimp and red potatoes

Less than a month to go!
... alone in distant woods or fields, in unpretending sproutlands or pastures tracked by rabbits, even in a bleak and, to most, cheerless day .... .  I suppose that this value, in my case, is equivalent to what others get by churchgoing & prayer.  Hank Thoreau, 1857

Thank you Bowtarist & Knoll.  I've added ya'll to the list.

What we have in the kitchen is probably enough.  If I recall, what is left is enough.
