Osage D-bow "Resurrection"
« on: February 22, 2017, 05:43:03 pm »
So I've never named a bow before, but this one really did come back from the dead. That is the stave was cut, thrown on the ground and left there until one day I came happily upon it. Low and behold, it's a shooter!

58" ntn
56# @ 27"
cork handle build up w/ cherry bark wrap
rawhide back (Thanks Bead)
India ink design on the rawhide
wrapped in some sketchy areas with sinew
Ebony overlays (Thanks Greenriver and Outlaw for setting up the trade)

Hope you like :)

Great job saving that stave and breathing some life back in it upstate. It would really be neat if you knew who cut it and left it there. Show them what you made from it.

Really cool, even with that arrow rest  >:D (guess it does allow you cleaner arrow flight without getting cut by fletching..)
