If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Was sittin at an Old Settler’s days this weekend beside a blacksmith. Some guy rolls up and drops 2 blowers on the table and said sell em if ya can. I jumped out of my seat and asked how much.
$50.

I was walking away with it before his mouth stopped moving.

After I came back from the truck I asked him if he had an old anvil layin around. He looks at me out of the corner of his eye an says

2 of em.

Im supposed to stop by in a couple weeks...  ;D

What a find! I'm still trying to talk my Buddy that owns a Machine Shop out of the one he has laying on a table.

I'll have to get some pictures of the anvil and blower that my brother in law said I could use.  His grandfather left them to him but he will never use them.

When you get that anvil, I expect to see some pictures from roadrunner hunting!

Every time I find a blower/forge/anvil at my local auction there are always people with more money than me! Stuff like that around here goes for hundreds of dollars! Even when they are broken or in serious disrepair! Ah, Forging, yet another hobby I want to get into.....
