The same goes for me. Don't send me emails about buying stuff. THIS IS UNWANTED. This is a free hobby for me and I don't intend to EVER buy anything.

Same here; I have a life time's worth of osage stockpiled and don't want any solicitation. Post a few ads in the various free classified sections of the other archery boards and you will have more business than you can handle.  Once you name is out there and you are deemed to be a straight shooter people will cover you up with requests for staves.

Mike McGuire is an example, he told me him and his dad sold 30,000 staves over the years, and I believe him, they were the go to guys for osage. It wasn't until he changed to making rustic furniture and got sloppy on his stave sales (lost his good reputation) that he fell off the radar. Mike had used a drawknife so much removing bark and sapwood from staves that his hands were permanently damaged, it was time for him to change direction.

Always wondered what became of Mike M.  I got a number of incredible staves from him, but when it came to the point that it took three months to get him to ship AFTER he had cashed the check and his refusal to even take my calls, I had to simply blow him off as a bad risk.  I am sorry his hands were ruined by this.  Any malice I had for him is dissapated and only sadness remains.

Guys
If you don't want any messages from certain individuals all you have to do is go into your account settings and modify your profile by adding a member on your ignore list, I'm sure many of you have put me there already  ;D.  Make sure you use the members exact username otherwise it won't work

When running a bow trade, I quickly learned that you will get the brakes put on you mighty fast when you send a lot of private messages.  There is a limit to how fast and how often you can send.

I can assure you, it takes a little effort and concentration to get past this anti-spamming measure.

Didn't know that, Marc. Thanks. I've asked via pm,  but he doesn't seem to understand. Delete this if you want to. I'll block him.
