Same here; I have a life time's worth of osage stockpiled and don't want any solicitation. Post a few ads in the various free classified sections of the other archery boards and you will have more business than you can handle. Once you name is out there and you are deemed to be a straight shooter people will cover you up with requests for staves.
Mike McGuire is an example, he told me him and his dad sold 30,000 staves over the years, and I believe him, they were the go to guys for osage. It wasn't until he changed to making rustic furniture and got sloppy on his stave sales (lost his good reputation) that he fell off the radar. Mike had used a drawknife so much removing bark and sapwood from staves that his hands were permanently damaged, it was time for him to change direction.
