The Florida guys aren't the only ones enjoying the cool and breezy weather. I had a very productive day in my workshop and enjoyed the fall breeze. I'm taking a break from hunting and trying to get a lot of projects wrapped up and starting on some new ones before I hit the woods hard again. I started by shaping the handle on this knife for my daughter. Its all done except for some sanding.
I have 2 more knives that are almost done so I went ahead and got the scales ready for them. This one is for me. I used some osage burl that Stringman gave me. I can't wait to see what they look like sanded smooth and a finish on them.
I got a USA made Nicholson wood rasp a while back and decided it needed some osage scales. I got them made and epoxied them on. With more than half the day gone I switched into bow making mode. I am trying to get a handful of bows roughed out so I can put them in the house to finish drying. I will finish these up over the winter hopefully.
The rasp scales glued on and my bow blanks cut out.
