Thanks Pat. The boa skins will make me feel a lot better about 28". I'm sure it will handle it, but if it decides it doesn't want to carry the load at least I know the skins will make it less violent and hopefully both my eyes still work afterwards. Id hate to tiller a bow with one eye.

Joe I just grabbed a 2 x 6 x 24 and used a quart paint can to make the radius. No science or tape measure behind it all. The metal strap is just a chunk of galvanized duct metal screwed in.
