A Fair trade
« on: September 06, 2016, 09:50:22 am »
I miss hunting. I missed last year because we were supposed to have a baby, and I didn't apply for my permit in time. I missed this year because we did, but with days like this, it is a good trade.

Man it's a brutal muggy day here at work but how can one not smile at that, I'd consider that a wise trade

It's a great trade JoJo, and looks like you could have a great hunting partner some day. Until then those bucks will be getting bigger. That day will come way sooner than you think.

You could get some tips from Top Predator, I think I've only seen him once or twice without his daughter strapped to his back ;D

Soon enough. As soon as she can go out and hang for more than a few hours She will be with me all the time.

Joe i quit hunting for ten years when my boys got heavy into sports, with both playing three sports and studying martial arts i didn't think i could dedicate enough time to the hunt to be ethical. While i missed it i never regretted it

Mille is a very interesting baby. She sleeps all night, and then doesn't all day. She will nap, but only if she's held. She is two months old today, and is way more interactive than any baby that I have been around at that age. So, I could for sure get out, but I am already gone 11 hours a day 5 days a week for my regular job, and normally 6 hours Saturdays on a side job. Next year I will get out for sure.

So far it is totally worth it. My wife is an awesome woman. Before we had Millie I wasn't allowed in the house on Saturdays until after 3 pm, as it is her cleaning day. So I got plenty of shop time, and plenty of time fishing. She still runs herself to the end everyday. I couldn't have asked for a better wife, the very least I can do is be there now. Millie is awesome. She is already a fun baby.
