Blackhawk Field Archers trad shoot
« on: August 20, 2016, 05:08:46 pm »
My daughter Nina and I headed up to  a local club called Blackhawk Field Archers for their traditional shoot this morning. Spent a half a day with Greg and his grandson Nathan and Nathan's dad. The mosquitoes were thick and we got rained on but none of us gave up and kept going. I'm happy to report that Nathan is really shooting that snakey bow very well. My daughter Nina couldn't figure out what was more important shooting or catching toads. A few pics of the fun

It was a fun shoot and we lucked out on getting thru the course with only a little rain towards the end. I'm glad you got some pics of the kids Paul, they seemed to really enjoy the whole atmosphere from breakfast and looking over all the old photos and such at the club house to roaming the forest and sticking targets with arrows. My son in law also told me that he really liked his first 3-D shoot. Good to get those youngsters out of doors and a great way to spend the day with some family and good friends.

Nina's expressions are always a hoot! Looks like fun day. Thanks for posting!

Looks like good times guys. I agree Mike, her expressions say all you need to hear! :) Cute little bugger she is.

In one of those pics Paul told her to put on her seriously stern archer face, she's a pistol. ;D
