Scalloped Seneca replica
« on: August 13, 2016, 03:09:30 pm »
A while back I just plain out asked Rich, "Half Eye" to make me a scalloped bow...Couple months later it arrived!  Here's the specs on this little monster :    52" nock to nock, 65@26, sinew backed Osage with Eastern Diamondback skins...Reflexed tips...
This is the fastest primitive bow I have ever shot to date...Video on speed will be attached at the end...
I shot the pics today while scouting the Sparkleberry Swamp that I hunt...Warning, pic HEAVY...
Thank you for the awesome bow Rich...I really am enjoying this one...
                                                                                                                        Don
Let's look at the bow and then some scouting pics where it will be used...

I love cypress swamps. We used to spend lots of time in the Okefenokee Swamp in South GA.  Thanks for the pics.
Nice looking bow too. Should fit right in the surroundings while deer or hog hunting.

Damn that's a nice bow and some nice country. This is in GA?

I am so glad that you like her Don, Cant do enough to pay ya back sir.....Man your rig looks BAD, and your hunting spot is some Serious good lookin land SIR....anybody that can hunt that moccasin infested place on the ground has my respect sir......not to mention the Eastern's and cane-breaks.

Might have to argue that speed thing too.....the bow you made aint any slower that I can tell, and Gutshots' is right there too...would you still have the shooting videos of those?

Anyway, really glad that it suits you.

Don,
Very nice bow, looks like it is fitting for that swamp. I really enjoyed the pic's. I live in upstate S.C. my wife is from Sumter. She has been telling me that we need to go to Sparkleberry sometime. I like swamps too.
Your season is about to open isn't it?  good luck.
