OK, here are some thickness dimensions (width is 1 1/4"), every inch to start so you can  judge the fade. (to nearest 0.1mm)
Sorry about the mix of metric and imperial, I just find it convenient. ::)
0", 22.6 mm, width here is 30.4mm
1", 19.4mm
2", 17.8mm
3", 17.4mm
4", 17.2mm You can see it's settled down now. so I'll go every 6"

10", 15.4mm
16", 15.1mm
22", 14.5mm,   width here is 14mm
