Bows for the Boys...

At
MOJAM
this last weekend I made a couple of bows for my Godsons, Lucas and Ryan. They are 6 year old identical twins that are pretty big for their age. They've neither one quite got the whole archery form thing down just yet. These bows are likely a bit heavy for them yet, ...but they'll grow into these little bows in no time I'm sure!
Edge grained Osage, 50 inches tip to tip, raw hide backing with leather handle wrap, Dogwood tip overlays, 25# @ 20 inches. One has some character to the stave, the other is pretty much a straight limbed bow.
I'll try to get some better pix of these bows close-up when the boys stop sleeping with them...

Future archers in-the-making . . . good on ya, Mr Eric!

Those bows should last those two a long time. I wonder how long before they start shooting at each other with them? Nice work Eric.
