34" sinew backed Osage (prairie rattlesnake skin)

Hello all,
This is an Osage short bow that has two courses of whitetail leg sinew applied with sinew glue and covered with a prairie rattlesnake skin. Quiver is three squirrels sewn together with whitetail leg sinew thread.

Specs
34" ttt
1.125" at handle tapering to .375" tips
#48 @ 16"
Tru oil finish

Nice little bow. But im curious, what do people do with bows like this?  ::) A backpack bow?

Dictionary,, we shoot them, they are fun to target shoot with,,, 48# @ 18 will shoot a hunting weight arrow really well,,  I am guessing from test I have done on short bows that this one will shoot a hunting weight arrow 450 ish at about 140 fps,, this will kill a deer at close range,,, so it would make a nice hunting bow as well,, very nice bow,, congrats, B

Every body's liking the bow what about that quiver. It's nice also. But that bow is awesome!

Thanks guys, really enjoy building the short ones. I do occasionally build longbows of the English and American flat bow variety as well! I'll be sure to post one soon!

That's a beaut for sure. Never made any short ones, but the last simple one I did, and I love how it shoots! Really into that squirrel quiver too! Cheers - brendan
