I have used superglue and it has worked very well.

Locktight professional thin super glue

I've only used TB III, no problems so far and thousands of shots from my first one..

Glad to see this, I Used super glue for some antler tip overlays and have been regretting not using two part epoxy, looks like super glue should work fine then

My best luck has come from the gel type thick superglues.  I also find that I have even better luck if I sand both surfaces with 80 grit in order to give it a micro-grooved surface for the glue to make a mechanical bond.

I've used super glue, thin and gel, TB glues and 2Ton epoxy all with good results. If you use super glue and the antler is pithy, saturate the pith with the super glue and let it dry then flatten the glue surface and glue it to the tip.

It's not the glue but the preparation of the mating surfaces that really matters.

I agree with Mike. A glue's ability largely depends on surface preparation. I've used superglue on overlays, but prefer to use Smooth On epoxy and prep the surfaces with a toothing plane blade. I do this not only on tips that I grind off at an angle for replacement with horn or antler, but use the same prep and glue for handle add-ons and it survives the tortures of movement into the dips. No pedestal or powerlam needed.

Yep!  I use smooth on epoxy to fill those tiny gaps that I can't get rid of during prep.  ;)
