peewee and a jr bow
« on: April 08, 2016, 06:36:45 pm »
Just finished these two up, both maple with osage tips. 65" and 56" ttt, the jr bow is around 40# out to 28" and the peewee is 18" at 22". Nothing fancy these are for a blackpowder rendezvous and they like me to leave a few " beauty marks"lol, anyway here they are

They turned out great Bubby.  A couple of lucky kids are going to be thrilled with them.

I've got a guy I work with who has a little saw mill...said he would cut logs up however I wanted them.  So I will try and start a stash myself.  I've been liking staves lately though..even the knarly ones.  It's nice having a board around to make a quick  solid bow.

Great father and son set!

Nicely done old timer, good to see ya passing on your work to the young ones. Nothing like handing a bow to a kid and I know you're familiar with that feeling.
