Osage Staves For Trade
« on: March 28, 2016, 07:58:51 pm »
Have a few Osage staves I'm looking to trade. Have several 55" + or -, and several 65" + or -. I do have some at 72" plus but shipping prices will probably make those unreasonable. These are fresh cut the first weekend of March, backs and ends sealed. Most have sapwood roughly removed( will need a ring chased) , and some with sapwood left on. Have all different grades, and a few darker colored and streaky Staves. Let me know what you are interested in and I can get some better pics.

Looking to trade for back or leg tendons, processed sinew, shoots for arrows, horn material for tip overlays, juniper or yew Staves etc.
Thanks,
Jake

Jake, I'd sure be interested. I live in central Nebraska. I've got some spare back strap sinew, maybe 100+ pcs. Average over 15".

Jake, I've also got a large box of antlers, some bamboo, cane, and other materials.

All of a sudden I feel the urge to take a road trip. I had half my stash burn in a wild fire. Running low... where you at exactly?

Tried to send you a PM sleek, but your box was full. If you aren't too far away, I could meet you in-between somewhere.

I'd have to meet you somewhere also as shipping costs on more than a couple might be prohibitive.

I did get your email with pics.

I am going to put this offer on hold for right now until I figure out what I have left, or if I have any left.

I have responded, or will respond shortly to all inquiries.
Thanks everyone!

  S&H IS KILLER.

I just shipped a stave to MI. for $14.00 at the same time one shipped to WA. was $55.00's. Across the rockies is a lot more.
