That looks to be well worth the effort. Way to test your skills and turn out a fine bow with some wicked looks.  8)

That bow looks sexy for sure.
Looking at the faded stain, what is this - are there violated rings or is this painted?
I'm convinced the bow shoots good, and your asking a lot from that wood - most of the bend in the inner thirds - probably only possible with osage

Simson - Thank you. :) The rings aren't violated at the yip, this piece had what I call "ghost rings" where the grain looks like there are multiple ring layers in each ring. Only ever saw that one other time. Needless to say, chasing a ring was a real head scratcher. Lol

Carson - I don't know any better, but I thought the "lunar" aspect was a myth? More to do with weather, rainfall, etc? I'm just curious as I'm just recently learning about it.
