Just got back from a 50 hike in the backwoods with no internet. Lots to catch up on here. Oh, and I had a tube waiting for me when I got home. I'll open it as soon as I have recovered a bit -  stay tuned.

Bought a scale... Turns out I suck at guessing weight. Its low enough I can't save it. Nothing I could really do about it though, I had to get the tiller some-what right. I'll finish it and give it to a kid or something.

Starting another one now... I actually have some idea of what I'm doing now. Should turn out a lot better.

Im sorry to hear that David....but it is all part of the learning experience.  Your tiller on this bow has gotten much better and the next one will work oit for you im sure.

 ;D I'm extending the deadline for any of you that need a little extra time.

There are a handful of members who have not participated as required by the rules set down at the beginning of the bow trade. These people will not receive a trade bow until their work has been shown and inspected by the rest of us. So if you don't have a bow yet there might just be a damn good reason.

I will not be mentioning any names because you know who you are.

One bow that has been received by a trade member is being returned due to lack of participation by the builder and an unsatisfactory attempt. If he would have participated as required I may have been willing to cut him some slack but that is not the case and the bow is not acceptable.

This member builder will be given the choice of building another bow or withdrawing from our trade.

I broke my trade bow. Pulled it to fare and POW!!!  Luckily I have plan c ready. I'll post it shortly.

Lol!  Definitely will try not too. I received some bamboo backings from eco archery. I may start a new one with some erc or Osage.   Plan c is nice! Shoots good too
