I got the Swampman!!!! I gotta say it's a beautiful bow. being a snake guy, I love the skins. I didn't catch the snake type during the build, are they bull or gopher snake? And the bead is an awesome touch. I havmt shot it much yet, but I like how it shoots. The draw weight is PERFECT. It feels very smooth with a hard enough hit to do something. And it seems to be a very durable design. I'll get some pictures up tonight after work.

Glad the bow made it in good shape Kyle.  The snake skins are what I had left over from a 7 ft gopher snake that I had picked up off of the highway.  The raw hide is from a deer I shot in the swamps of the Mississippi River.  I am glad you like it.  The bow should be well shot in.  I shot it for a good 3 months before I sent it.  I loved shooting that bow and I really didn't want to part with it.  However that became a lot easier when I got my yew bow from Jeff.

Mine is finished!  I still need to twist up a string for it, and then write the specs on it.  Here are some pics.  It is dogwood, with a cherry lam on the handle and redbud underlays on the tips.

Superb work Loope. Wow there hasn't been a bow made so far by all of you that I wouldn't cherish having in my hands. All of you have set the bar high for the remainder of us. Your artistic abilities and hard work amaze me.
