Just to check in real quick: I got the bow bending pretty evenly out to 20" (sorry, no pics of that right now :( ).  I then went ahead to bend the tips a little bit.  Here is the result:



I did this over the weekend with steam, so I'm letting it sit for a while while the moisture works it's way out (I'll check it after Memorial Day).  In the mean time, this gives me some time to work on some other things, like making another core lam.

I took the pic at work. I really don't have a good workshop at home, so I'll do a few things there after hours. I fix band instruments for a living and that pegboard is filled with my sent removal tools for taking out dents in brass instruments.

Hello all I thought I would share what I have been working on for the trade....kind of a horse bow but and R/D hickory backed red oak with some walnut and red oak  tips. Let me know what you think as glue ups are not something I work on...taken some shots with this bow and it s fast- Hammertime

It s 54 " n-t-n, putting my other bows on hold thinking this is the one but what do you all think it holds a nice R/D profile when unstrung- Hammertime

Bottom limb looks pretty good but the top is bending a lot out of that fade.

Got a little bit more work done...

Left limb needs some more work, but after that I THINK I can start bringing both down evenly and getting it to draw length. What do you guys think?



The right limb has some twist (I think it's called prop twist)
Anything to worry about?
