I'm also a proud owner of a Bushboy bow, Congrats Greg, looks good in your hands.
Cant wait to see these last few bows. I'll go some where nice this weekend to photograph my James Parker bow, as well as a couple others I've finished up recently.

Well there goes any element of surprise...  :-[
Just doing the tru-oil. Had to ditch the birchbark idea after two failed attempts and go with some fawn rawhide as a sinew cover.
Marc sent me that hide 15 years ago and it feels good to work it into this trade.

Glad you like it James. I enjoyed making it for you.
The finish is basucally a french polish. Shellac, and linseed oil, though I sized the bow with hideglue first, which makes it more of an english polish...No joke.

Sorry Pat, I couldnt help but look at the list and put it all together. Maybe I didn't need to announce it on here though  :-\
I am excited for this bow. I know you are putting great attention to detail into it, and I appreciate that. Take your time, I do have a hunting bow.  ;D

No sooner did the soft, sweet note of the bow-string charm the ear of genius than music was born, and from music came poetry and painting and..." Maurice Thompso

No problem. Should just be few more days for the finish to harden up and it will be on its way.
Hope it gets a chance  in the field this fall. That's what it's designed for.

Alright, Pat, new rule: You have to stay off PA till you ship. You get distracted easy. ::) ;)

So, other than Brycey boy. Who is left to ship? Id like to think this is all but wrapped up by now.

Did PatM send his offering out to Carson? I haven't seen him around lately. Cody mentioned shipping his a few weeks back. Not sure that he did either.
