Glad your coming up, Patrick. I think you will thoroughly enjoy the quiet, laid-back environment. I know I do.

Thanks Pearl,  I'm ready for some peace and quiet time. Looking forward to meeting you and several other the other pa guy's.

...as Patrick has alluded to already, he and I should be there sometime on Thursday.  We may not be camping out the entire time because my wife has an old friend that lives nearby she wants to visit as well while we are up there.  She may only make an appearance or two and leave me setting there in my sawdust and shavings pile.  ;D

I have a couple campfire kettle meal recipes I can make well, and should have plenty to share with some.  I assume, but would like to confirm, that camp fires, (properly contained), are permitted. ???

Fires have always been allowed since I've been going to Marshall. I would assume the same this year or unless the next 3 weeks we go in to an absolute brutal drought

Onebow is gonna cook! Yum/yum.

Eric ... friend is Laura's. We are your friends. That may indicate where ya need to spend your time.  >:D

Glad you two are coming Eric & Patrick. I remember meeting you both in TN but really didn't get a chance to hang out much and get to know ya well. Marshall is a smaller event and good for getting to know all your neighbors, looking forward seeing you both.

Thanks guy's,  I might just have to add to Erics cooking. I make a mean dump cake. Any of you that ate the pineapple upside-down cake at the classic last year got just a taste. I'm working on a new dish for ya'll!

Unless things change, I'll have a tagalong this year.

I'm glad you will have the libations this time Mike. May not have room to bring any but I'll have room to consume!  >:D

I've managed to meet several of the guys here on pa,  I've made some great friends as well. But most of the guys going to this gathering I haven't had the chance to meet. Should be a great time.
II hope all you Yanks can handle having a couple of Southern boys in camp!  >:D
