I've got about a 18 arrows made and they all weight between 65 and 85 grains..  Been shooting them from my bow that is about 22# at 10"  and have found out that the tip weight means as much with these mini's as it does with full sizes bows.....Most are shooting weak spine, using boo skewers at 11" long. I'm needing to weak'n the point weight which is about 40 grains now.
By the way Chris nice little mini bow.....I kind'a like static's too... :) ;)

Hey Guys...
I'm having a little trouble with my hunting arrows....can't seam to come up with a good point.
What would you go with, a mini stone point or a mini trade point?  I've seen some mighty fine mini stone points on here in the past... :) :)

I'm thinking to try the mini-trade points made out of carpet knife blades.  Can easily get two per disposable blade, and old dulled ones would work just fine...  I saw a demo online that looked a bit cheesy, ...but it could work I expect.

I like the boo skewers for their smaller diameter and spine.  but like the full size ones, I have gone through the whole pack and only found 30 or 35 worthy of arrows.  Like I've always said... accuracy is with the arrows.. :) ;)  I've been shooting only cane/boo for two years now (with the big bows) and the other day I went back and shot some aluminum and .....WOW....unbelievable groups.. :)
Maybe I'm not as good as a primitive arrow maker as I think.... :-\ :) ;)

Boo and 22 casings sounds real good for blunts....
Using boo (skewers), I found some 3/16" OD brass tubing at Hobby Lobby and added a 1/4" long piece of 16 penny nail, fits perfect into the end, sharpened for field points.  Seems to work well...can change the weight pretty easy by grinding the nail point down......
My are sticking into a "Block target" about an inch and a half at 20 ft..... :)
