Ok, I couldn't wait. . .The box wasn't fitting under the tree, so it had to go. I think I really scored today. In it I found what looks to be a floor -tillered red oak stave (not a board), and two osage staves. 'The one with bark on it still has a big reflex right at the handle section that should make a really interesting profile, if I can figure out the best design for it. The other stave also has a couple of nice character features that I am really going to enjoy. There were also four laminated tip overlays to add to these bows.
The only problem is I don't know who to thank. the return address says Quetot from New Waterford, Ohio, but I don't know who that is on here. I did my graduate school in Cincinnati, Ohio, so it will be nice build a bow from that state.
