2 piece TD (Pic Heavy)

This has been on my to do list for the last two years.  I like the idea of keeping prying eyes away from a loose bow laying in the car, take it down and throw 'er in the trunk or under the seat .
All maple 65" @ 41# FG handle.   Shot 150 arrows thru it.  It was a challenge spent over 50 hours on it.

Thanks the biggest challenge was laying the glass, the first handle broke becasue it was to thin and I used the rest of my G2 took forever to cure.  So I picked up some Auto resin quick dry.  It took a while to figure out a jig for mating the 2 limbs together for the handle build.   Once I got that it was easy peasy.

Take downs are handy for sure.Stick em in the quiver with your arrows.Nice job and contrast of colors.I imagine the fiberglass is lighter than the brass sleeve I used.

That's a nice one, just one question, what did you use to prevent the resin from gluing the detachable linb?

I used Vaseline.  If you can get your hands on the PA magazine dated April/May 2013 there are 2 builds on these type of bows.  One write up is by Marc St. Louis and another by Eddie McCann.  They are great step by step builds.
