Trying to see if the wife would be okay with me coming in tomorrow instead of Monday but I think it'll still be early Monday morning.

Did put a coat of linseed oil on the hickory beast I made last year and found a few vertical small splits I need to glue up so I'm doing that and airing out the tent today, and packing tomorrow.

Time can't move fast enough right now.

I'm mostly packed and ready to go.  I'll be heading south sometime late morning.  I hope the RRII makes the journey OK.  It will be loaded down.

Well the forces of the universe have conspired to prevent my attendance to the classic this year. It was a typical Occam's razor situation. What can go wrong, will go wrong. I won't even get into details, it will just further bum me out. I apologize to everyone I had made plans with including those looking forward to the perch I was going to fry up and any of the little ones looking forward to free face painting. I'm gonna go for a little walk in the woods to clear my head and hopefully some disappointment as well. I suppose there's always next year right?

Parnell left my house around 7:30 this afternoon. He said he will do Atlanta in the morning and roll in around 1-2 tomorrow afternoon.
