New Osage Bow

Here are a few pics of an Osage bow I just finished up. It's 60 inches long and pulls 52 pounds at 26. It's 1.5 inches wide to midlimb and tapers down to 3/8 inch at the nocks. I flipped the tips up on this one just a little and I really like the way it shoots. It has a pair of prairie rattlers on it and the tip overlays are curly maple. I inlayed a piece of deer antler for the strike plate on this one and the handle is wrapped with hemp cordage.

Swell looking bow, the tips are a nice contrast to the orange color of the wood.

Wow, Alan-that's a helluva fine looking weapon. Don't see how it could get much better than that- you da man.

Nice work, very pretty tiller. Love the skinny handle, and that hemp wrap is smokin'.
Looks like you stayed full width about 3/4 of the length of the limb, or is that my imagination?
