First selfbow deer.
« on: October 10, 2015, 10:20:26 pm »
Finally got me one tonight. I had this deer come out of the thick stuff at 20 yds  heading at me. I grabbed my bow and stood up and the deer was at 10 pretty much broadside. Next thing I know the arrow was buried to the fletchings in the deer right where I was looking. It took off on a dead run and made it about 40 yds before piling up. Although it was a self bow kill the bow was not made by me. Arvin Weaver crafted my fine bow. Grizzly broadhead was used and a poc arrow that I made. Arvin if your reading this Im still loving my bow. Man I hope I can build one this good once I start whittling On my staves I got drying.
