This stave has a big nasty knot and a nasty waggle in the upper limb (Full build on my Bowyers Diary blog).
It's got a wide belly trapped back, heat treated...
It took a little set in the early tillering but was straightened a tad during heat treating and is now back to where it started (according to the chalk line traced on the garage floor).
After leaving it strung overnight

(that was deliberate, to help work it in... honest

) it had 1 3/4" between belly and the floor when placed belly down. After about 4 hours this was down to 1 1/4" and the next morning it was 3/4"

I got my mate JT to be the test pilot for the first shot... brave man, no hard hat or goggles

I can't give any more figures as he's hung onto the bow

but it's about 78" long.
