Have just finished one of my projects in my workshop. There are still waiting a handful of others to be finished.
This Osage draws 45# at 24". Length: 52", Wide: 1 1/4". 2 layers of bisonsinew, rattlesnakeskinbacking, deerleatherhandle with erminetails and glassbeads. The upper tip is decorated with osagedyed horsehair.

Great looking bow with great tiller. You have really captured the spirit of the bow with the decoration. Justin

That's an ugly bow.  I think you need to send it to me immediately so I can have it. :)

I agree with billy... that thing is hideous, and you should make another and send it to me right away!!
WOW!!! Nice bow. A sinew backed bow has not been added to my quiver yet. Not that I don't want to, it's just that I keep getting distracted! The SSs are gorgeous, also.

That's a nice one! Congrats.

P.S. It is cheaper to send a bow from Germany to Germany as to send a bow from Germany to the USA >:D ;)

Very nice bow.  I had one almost identical to it in every way, even including the horsehair.  Mine was about 50lb@27", and it had pin nocks.  It was not as nice as yours though.  In fact, I don't know where it went to, must have given it away but I don't recall.  Might still be in the bow bin.

Very nice. Thanks for the pictures.
With a fine osage selfbow, my elkhide quiver filled with cedar arrows fletched with turkey, and with the invitation of the forest, I am about as happy as a man can be.
