Help for the Tiller Fatigued
« on: June 02, 2015, 01:50:11 pm »
This is the noodlyest persimmon I've ever seen... even with a solid heat treatment. It's 60" ntn and around 1 1/4" at the middle. The full drawn shot is 30# at 26" because of a hinge near the handle early on. Most of the set is out towards the tips even though they don't seem to bend in the full draw... Just really weird wood.

I think you are a little stiff from the crack in the wall behind the bow on the right side back to your tillering tree.

Left limb is good but the right is stiff in the outer and bending too much in the handle area to mid limb.
Also a bit much handle bend for me.

It looks great to me. Put a finish on it and go hunting. If one limb is slightly different than the other, who cares - certainly the deer won't know. I keep reminding myself that perfection doesn't exist this side of glory, so stop trying.

That shelf may be playing tricks on eyes.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

It may be Chris but i think it is bending a bit much in the middle I'd like a unbraced pic after a few days shooting
