Obsidian Dovetail?
« on: May 19, 2015, 11:00:32 pm »
I made this Dovetail a while ago. I just never
posted it because I don' think there were ever any
made by American Aboriginals.
Never the less here it is,
I wanted more from it so I hafted it.
I will post that aspect of the blade on Prim Skills.

Your gonna make me leave the flintknapping forum to see the finished product!? Haha looks good! I always try making big point but end up with a pile of chips and a birdie...
May my presence go unnoticed, may my shot be true, may the blood trail be short. Amen.

Lol, don't give up. We were all there at one time.
I may be weird to post the knife in Prim Skills
but the handle and hafting are not actually knapping.
And Prim Skills needs a boost now and then.  There are
some real cool projects discussed there.

That is a biggun. I'm betting it all turned out nicely :).
