New set of midnight target arrows

I wanted to make a new set of arrows for the Classic but didn't have the time to work on them. I'm either helping my Dad with jobs around his house or trying to finish up some of my projects. A while back I started sneaking out to the garage late at night after the wife fell asleep. Often I'd stay out there until midnight working on the arrows. I finally got them finished up. They are Tonkin bamboo that I got from Mullet at the Classic last year. I dyed them with black powdered dye mixed in alcohol. I brushed on two coats of polyurethane because I was out of the spray. The feathers are turkey and peacock wing feathers. I really liked the peacock feathers. They aren't as stiff as turkey primaries but not as soft as turkey secondaries. They are kind of in the middle. The quill seemed softer than turkey quills so they trimmed and sanded easily. I'm going to be looking out for some more. Tracy and Ozzy gave me these feathers. Bubby supplied the turkey primaries. The shafts spined in the mid 40's and they average around 450 grains. They flew great out of my hunting bow. I have become a fan of the shield cut now.

Nice arrows Clint, with a little luck you'll get back home from Tenn. without having lost a few of them.
Stay away from the iron fox.

Very nice looking arrows. I think PatB answered my un-asked question. The cock feather is "peacock"?

Yep. Peacock cock feathers. I was thinking about dying the turkey feathers but I liked the natural look with the white
Thanks for all the comments guys

You are the arrowsmith Bill. I can spot your arrows from 10 yards away. There were several of them flying at Moontree this year.
Those are quick knocks Pearly
