My first short English Longbow (Light)
« on: March 27, 2015, 03:31:16 pm »
This it my third bow made of yew and my first English longbow (light), re-tillered thanks to the feed back I received from some members on this site.
It is 71 inches long and 61# @ 28 inches.
20.60 ounces
I call it Hood, how original is that....

Whew it is a long bow for sure.   Tiiler looks nice.

Was / is the upper limb reflexed at all?  It still looks stiff to my eyes, but then it also seems to be gently curving away from the belly in the brace photograph.

Certainly a much cleaner, smoother bend than before, so well done! Very nice work.
