20 people really isn't that low. I took count, and then saw that it had already been done  >:D

Yeah some of the guys I was hoping to see in the trade isn't and some that are in it I wasn't expecting.

I just wish I knew who my person is so I could get started! The suspense is killing me! Patrick

You'll know soon enough ;)

I think it'll be a fine trade; big isn't so important. If everyone does their best I don't see why there'd be a problem :)

<snip>it just would have been cool to see the masters inflicting some poor unsuspecting first-timers with their work ;)

There is nothing stopping the masters from doing exactly that if that is what they want to do.  ...and a bow trade is not required to accomplish it.

True, and I know plenty of trades go down all year round, but I know that I at least wasn't brave enough to approach anyone at my level, forget people like Chris and Marc, for a trade. The first trade I participated in was actually the first trade bow I received and I only entered that because it was an invitation. I've traded a couple times since with new guys and did all the initiating. An event like this is a big way to get people to do their best for a trade, and I for one am going to love hearing about someone opening up their short bendy R/D molle ;D

Didn't mean anything by calling some of the 20+ year veterans masters, they're just the absolute best bowyers I've seen.

Agreed. They are masters of their trade. And great guys to boot!

Goat I am hoping you draw my name.  that stuff looks fabulous.  For myself, I am going to make the best bow I possibly can, and hopefully get one done early enough that I can shoot it in really well and make sure it will hold up.

I'm excited! I hope I get... I really don't care who I get. I just hope I make an awesome shooter for someone to enjoy! More than likely someone is getting Black Locust.
