I've never shipped a bow, only staves which weigh a lot more than a bow. It never costs me more than 50$. I dont mind shipping a bow overseas guys, no need to do a raffle.

Obviously if someone wanted to help me out I wouldn't turn it down. i just think it would be cool for someone to shoot one of my bows overseas!

Another thing to consider is if you value the bow at a hefty price and are shipping across borders, your recipient will be smacked with a tariff.i would suggest a value of 50$ and tagged as hand crafted art work bow, because that's what I belive it is. Chances are no duty will be inflicted if labeled this way.
Some like motorboats,I like kayaks, some like guns,I like bows, but not the wheelie type.

Since there is no money changing hands I would think this is the place to send it as a gift.

That really surprises me. $50 ain't bad. I'll consider it when I have something worth trading.

I was gonna mention that too bushboy. I got a bit of a smack with that last trade.  60$ in duties and taxes, because there was a 400$ value placed on it.  I don't think my trader knew, so no worries, but it would be nice to avoid that in the future.

I must say this trade is very well thought out, much better than how we used to do it in the old days.  I really like the rules.  As bubbles mentioned though, if by chance you do have to ship north cross border then consider that a high dollar declared value will cost the recipient a tidy chunk of money by customs.

I shipped mine as "Native America Inspired artwork". It got there in about a week and was pretty inexpensive.
