Two yrs ago everyone donated money for a trade bow to go across the pond if I remember corectly

That was me who shipped a make up bow. I believe it was a $190 from Chicago to the UK. a lot of good guys chipped in to make it happen. unfortunately a lot of guys talk a big game now but August 15th there nowhere to be found or have every excuse in the world. as long as guys take it seriously and want to ship one more than they want to receive one you guys should be having no trouble.

I'd like to do this. Almost finished with my first bow right now and will have more experience by the time this rolls around. Might still be too new though.  ::)

Do everybody involved a big favor and don't get in over your head guys. Don't simply "think" you can make a bow by the dead line, KNOW you can before you sign the dotted line. It just creates problems and animosity which turns into a ton of fella's never doing this again.

This is my take and my take only. If you haven't made at least 5 adult weight bows that haven't hurt anybody, you should reconsider and save yourself the angst that comes with dead lines.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

Ok I'm in.
Righty, 45-60# 25-26" draw. No shelf preferred.
I'm ok with shipping anywhere, but only to someone who is willing to ship to me too ;)

Hi Wiz, you have shipped to the states, haven't you? Does it cost more going south than coming north? Sometimes these things just aren't equal.

Don't mean to be a pain but I'm seeing more "I'm in's" than messages for signup ;)

+1 Pearlie, I'm looking through everybody's posts but you need to consider whether or not you can/will make a safe bow before signing up, it just saves everybody a good chunk of time and stress.

I've shipped to Canada from Nevada, cost around $35. Not too bad. That was that character molle with the jatoba tips.

Black locust. Black locust everywhere.
Mollegabets all day long.
Might as well make them short, save some wood to keep warm.

Got the green light to join!

40-60# 28" draw I'm a righty but prefer no shelf, no tip overlays
Prefer US shipping but am open to abroad, and am willing to chip in for an international shipping fund.

Now...time to hunt down a stave . . .

Shaneisneato, I'm not sure about this year man, the trade might not be the right use for your second bow ;)

Possible solution for an international shipping fund?

I (huisme) like it, so I'll put the link in this account's signature and update it when a decision is made.
