I'm not in the US. Here, there's no legal issue with the feather.
The bow is from a yew sapling, you can still see the pith in the handle. The heartwood is still quite bright, the wood is not very dense. The tips and strikeplate are roebuck antler. String's Dacron. I put on a acrylic finish wich I will never do again, I'm not at all happy with how it looks and feels. The reason I did it in the first place was that I wanted something that will not let the white sapwood go yellow...
Pulls 57# at 28", a bit over 60" long, and 11 ounces mass.
