Trade shortie- *something* on page 2

Going to BLaflair for a couple osage staves as well as another for reasons I'll explain ::)

Made from my last stave in Nevada, it's 58.5"ttt, 57.5"ntn, 1" grip, 1.5" fades tapering to .5" nocks with black walnut overlays. Did something different with the lacing, jute wrap pass. Started with an inch of reflex and rests with about an eighth of that after around 250 arrows.

~40#@28", pulled to 29" a couple times to be safe.

I'm going to do another at about these specs for the man because a pin knot peeled out and seriously wrecked my process with this one and I couldn't keep it heavy enough. A little embarrassing but stuff happens ::)

Anyway, I'm not gonna give you the whole picture right away >:D Maybe a few more or the shape and some profile, but I'll leave it to the new owner to post a full draw

Pretty much. Every stage I harvest can make pretty much every design, it's fast, it's durable, it's pretty, it lets you know if you've done a bad job, and it's a freaking weed in Washington

Glad you like it so far! Wish I'd put down the machete just a little earlier, you wouldn't be waiting for a proper hunting stick :-\

You get the address? Wifi keeps going off >:(

Illove BL, to Marc, and it's one of the best woods available to me in Utah, as well.  Were do you get it in Nevada?  Here it only grown on private land (imported by the MOrmon pioneers for tool handles and fence post, because hickory and osage struggle, and ash refuses to not be crooked)   I see a lot of it, but have access only to trees I cut down doing tree work, or stealing it from the slash piles when they clear old farmland for development.

I have a ton right now, though.  And in Portland, yeah, I see it growing everywhere on roadsides and stuff.

I haven't seen any Im allowed to harvest either; I brought all the locust I had from Washington. I've got some 200 unsorted staves waiting for me when I get back and three people wanting to get rid of some of their trees  ;D
