Great job Dad! Sweet bow and even sweeter kiddo. I love the facial expression in the photos "let's get this picture over with, I got a bow to shoot here!".

That is a sweet bow Chris, even if it is only 10lbs! Look forward to seeing her shoot. I made one for my daughter about the same weight and with a 1/4" arrow they are real weapons. I could not believe it. I learned real quick not to turn my back :o

 :) :) :) :)

Look at the tiller on that thing! I would expect nothing less from you, Chris.
"The bow is the old first lyre,
the mono chord, the initial rune of fine art
The humanities grew out from archery as a flower from a seed
No sooner did the soft, sweet note of the bow-string charm the ear of genius than music was born, and from music came poetry and painting and..." Maurice Thompso

It's wonderful seeing the smile on a little ones face when they first use a bow ! Great job !
When my kids were using smaller bows like that I would use a single thickness of cardboard with targets of their choice taped to them . ( usually animal targets) the card board is plenty of stopping power for those little bows until they start drawing them to full draw , and allows the arrow to stick in the target . Gives them great satisfaction and keeps them really ,really focused and eager!
Once again , great job !(on the bow and the Fathering)
