Hobby Lobby ... The Wife was surprised
« on: October 20, 2014, 09:54:27 pm »
The Wife is a HL fan.  In the past ... me, not so much.   ::)
Today she decided a trip to the local store was on the agenda.  I surprised her by asking if she wanted company.
Carol wanted to look at the Halloweeny stuff.  So I drifted down to the arts/crafts area.  We hooked back up an hour later.  I'm then juggling 2 bags of leather scraps, 6 bottles of actrylic paint, artificial sinew, one of those awl/sewing thingys, and some lacings.
She couldn't suppress the laughter as I tried to keep all the stuff in my arms and sheepish grin from spreading across my face.

I bought my first spool of Artificial Sinew from there. Tandy brand, and cheaper than they sell it at Tandy. The leather scraps are quite cheap too. I also buy all of my Vinyl for my cutter there. As well as dye. Its a fun store.

My wife refuses to go shopping with me. She sleeps late, and I get up early. I am also not allowed at home while she is cleaning. Gives me plenty of time to do whatever I want on Saturdays!

I am a lucky man. She even feels bad when she works a 12 because I have to make my own dinner.

Thanks, I know that she is a good woman. I know I am spoiled. I would cook if she let me, I was a bachelor for 30 years before we were married, so I hope she knows that I can cook. I can wear the same work clothes to work every day, they are clean, folded and put away every morning when I get up to go to work. Now if I could only get her to kill things! She even cries when fish die...
