In the morning, Anthony and I were hunting white oaks, he saw 11 deer and I saw only one. That afternoon we hunted two stands where he hunted that morning. We could see each other in the stands. Two doe came in on Anthony, at the oaks. He put a good shot on one around 8yds. About 10 mins. later I see this 8pt coming my way. He got right under the stand. I had put some deer scent on the tree, he stopped to smell. He was less than 2yds, broad side, to my right, right under the stand. Took the shot, spine hit, dropped in his tracks. Good afternoon when you can get a double with a good hunting buddy.
