Ahhh thanks! That makes much more sense! And yeah I am in the process of trying to read as many Osage builds as I can.

Just saying...you harvested the wood 9/25 and hunting season is around the corner.
Are you planning to force dry the wood?
I've cut wood, waited a year and it still was not ready to be a bow.
That is why I suggested boards.
But your call. :)

Yeah I have no intention of using this wood this year. This is just for future planning. I plan to use a board or buy a stave.
