Stave storage
« on: September 25, 2014, 12:18:57 pm »
My shop is getting a little full. Is there any reason I can't store the new staves in my shed? It's open on three sides but it's dry. I don't think we have a bug problem here.

They should be fine if you keep them out of the blowing in weather and direct sun light, what kind of wood is it ? I know Osage
will be fine, some white woods are a little less tolerant of changes in weather/humidity and temps you get out doors.  :)

Yew, Douglas Maple, Ocean Spray, Pacific Crabapple and Pacific Dogwood. Yew is probably the only one you've had experience with :D
