Hey folks I'm back from Hawaii. I broke my phone, so no pics.  :-\
But I tried a lot of woods, and I found my favorite was Avacado.
You folks should see the Eucalyptus trees. There were some that grew vines on em that you could climb like ropes. Great fun!
Well now I'm in El Paso, Texas to see my sisters first born, and I'm wondering if anybody can hint at a source of Osage. Even if its on the side of the road on the way back to Colorado. Any input or questions are welcome.  :laugh:

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you're gonna be way too far West  to find Osage.  That is unless you pass a truckload of posts bound for a ranch.  Juniper, elm, and Russian olive will be fairly easy to find.  There's some mountain maple here and there as well.  Josh

Head East!!!!    gotta go away from the desert type area...might be too far out of your way...cauae 100 miles in Texas is considered around the corner to us.

Bummer! I guess some Osage will have to have its own special trip. Thanks for letting me know.

You might trying returning to Colorado via eastern Oklahoma or Kansas  ::)
